I'VE SIGNED UP! NOW WHAT HAPPENS?

As soon as you sign up, you’ll receive a short intake form and an email confirming your booking.

In this email, you’ll receive your Program Guide as well as a link to Zoom, which we use for online video conferencing each week.  Be sure you test Zoom in advance of our first session. It’s super easy.  Once it’s set up, all you need to do each week is click on the exact same link and our online classroom will appear.

I DON'T WANT TO COMPETE. CAN I STILL PARTICIPATE?

Competition is optional.

The Wellness Advantage™️ Challenge was created to give you the tools you need to make more informed decisions about your health. In other words, your health is our priority; competition comes second. This is why we’ve set up the program so that the competition component is optional. If you don’t want to compete, you don’t have to. But if your competitive nature is kicking in, then go for it!


WHAT IS THE PROGRAM FORMAT (# of sessions, length, etc)?

Whether you sign up as a business, a group of friends, or join a public group, the program format is the same.

Session 1: We start with a 60-minute session so you gain a clear understanding of how the top overlooked daily habits are contributing to chronic problems like fatigue, cravings, weight gain, joint pain or other more serious health issues.

Sessions 2-8:  Each week at the same time, you’ll attend a 30 minute online group coaching session where you’ll receive continued education, weekly challenges, and answers to some of the top questions of the week (time permitting).

Session 9: This final 60-minute session is structured to wrap up the program, provide advice moving forward, answer pending questions, and award the FREE program (if applicable) to those who chose to compete.


WHERE IS THE FIRST SESSION?

If you’re part of the Corporate Challenge, the first session may take place in person, unless you’re located outside of the Lower Mainland, in which case it takes place via Zoom. If you are part of a Public or Private Group, then all sessions will take place via Zoom.


HOW DO I JOIN THE ONLINE SESSIONS?

AM I ABLE TO WATCH THESE SESSIONS ON MOBILE?

Yes, absolutely! You’ll need to download the Zoom app on your phone. Scroll down to the bottom of the Program Guide for instructions.


DO I NEED TO DOWNLOAD ZOOM?

You shouldn’t have to download Zoom; however, some have had to. This is why we recommend visiting the link prior to the session so you can test video and sound without missing any of the first session.


THE ZOOM CONNECTION WAS LOST DURING OUR SESSION. WHAT DO I DO?

As long as WiFi isn’t the issue, simply click on this link (https://zoom.us/j/6043369355) and you’ll be able to rejoin your session.


I HAVEN’T RECEIVED ANY FOLLOW UP EMAILS AFTER SESSION 1.

You should have received at least one email immediately after your first session. If you haven’t received it, check your spam filter and make sure you add editor@nicoleporterwellness.com to your address book.


WHAT IS THE CANCELLATION POLICY?

The Wellness Advantage Challenge program is non-cancellable.


CAN I MOVE A SESSION?

Unfortunately, no. Once you’re booked into a 9-week program and have committed to the time slot, we cannot change it. Thank you for understanding.


WHAT IF I MISS A SESSION?

If you miss a session, don’t worry – all information you’ll need for the week will be in the post (be sure to read it thoroughly!). Plus even if you miss a session, you can still do the weekly challenge(s). However, if you’re competing for the free program, you must be in attendance of all 9 weekly sessions.


I'M AWAY FOR SOME SESSIONS. WILL THAT AFFECT MY RESULTS?

We use Zoom on desktop and mobile so that you can participate from anywhere. If you aren’t able to submit your Tracker every night, however, you won’t receive points, which means, yes, it would affect your results. Plus, if you’re competing for a free program, you must attend all 9 sessions.


DO YOU RECORD THE SESSION?

No, our sessions are not recorded, but you can read the post for the week for all the information you’ll need.


DO I KEEP DOING EACH WEEK’S CHALLENGE EVEN THOUGH IT’S OVER?

Yes, please do, although you don’t necessarily earn points for doing so. You will, however, likely feel amazing if you continue on so yes, we encourage you to continue with as much of each challenge as possible.


WHERE DO I ACCESS THE CHALLENGE TRACKER THAT I HAVE TO FILL IN?

The Challenge Tracker is always available via 3 ways:

  1. on the weekly challenge post on the website.
  2. in your morning emails.
  3. in your evening emails.

When you’re filling out your Tracker, make sure it’s the correct one for the week. ie/If you’re in Week 3, fill out the Week 3 Tracker. Don’t go back to a Week 2 email and fill out the wrong one.


I’VE GOT ANOTHER FRIEND/COLLEAGUE WHO WANTS TO JOIN LAST MINUTE. IS THAT OKAY?

We can accept latecomers to the program; however, depending on when they join, they may miss out on important foundational information. Also note that if latecomers wish to compete for the free program, they cannot make up points for the days/weeks missed. Please email info@nicoleporterwellness.com for more information.


THERE ARE LESS THAN 6 PEOPLE IN OUR GROUP. ARE WE STILL ELIGIBLE FOR A FREE PROGRAM?

In order to win a free program, there must be at least 6 participants.


DO I GET PRIVATE COACHING IN THIS PROGRAM?

Private Coaching is not included in this program, but if you are interested in more tailored advice, you can add a Personalized Wellness Plan and/or Private Coaching sessions, both of which are set up exclusively to help participants in The Wellness Advantage™ Challenge program.
