We all have a different definition of stress. Speaking in front of 100 people might scare the heck out of one person, but it might be invigorating and exciting to another.
The key is perception. As they say, perception is everything.
In 2018, I did a presentation for a group of phlebotomists (they give you needles to take your blood), so I thought it was fitting to show them this popular video of the little girl who was undoubtedly stressed out about having blood taken.
This video is the perfect example of how we can use our advanced, but sometimes overanalytical brains to turn nothing into something, and ultimately end up with unnecessary stress.
