Private Coaching Frequently Asked Questions

Do I pay for the whole program upfront?

No, you’ll only be required to pay for the first session upfront. Then, each session will be billed to your credit card weekly at the time of your appointment.


What do I need to do before Session 1?

Before Session 1:

  1. Submit your intake form.
    • This form must be submitted 3 business days prior to Session 1. Upon booking your session, you should have received an email with a link to your intake form (or you may have filled it out within the booking site). If you didn’t receive it or can’t find it, log in to your Jane account and go to ‘Intake Forms’.
  2. Sign in to your Private Coaching Curriculum with your unique link and access code.
  3. Set up Zoom for our weekly sessions.
    • You will have received a Zoom link (and password) in your intake form and in your Welcome email from Nicole. We recommend that you bookmark the Zoom link for easy access each week.

What happens after I book Session 1?

Once you book Session 1 online, you’ll receive an intake forms via email and a separate email from Nicole. It will take you about 30-45 minutes to complete the forms so be sure to set aside the appropriate amount of time. These forms will then need to be submitted at least 3 days prior to Session 1.


I haven’t received any emails from you yet. What should I do?

  1. Log in to your Jane account to ensure your email address in your profile is correct.
  2. If the above is correct, check your spam folder for the email from nicole (at)
  3. If the email is not in your spam folder, contact info (at) or 604.336.9355 (WELL) to have the forms resent.


How long are the sessions and are they in person or online?

The first session is 90 minutes and all subsequent sessions are 30 minutes. All sessions are online via Zoom. You will have received the Zoom link and password when you booked your session and in your welcome email from Nicole.


I'm out of town for part of my program. Can I cancel or postpone my sessions?

Each program is set up so that you attend consecutive weekly sessions to get you the best results. Ideally, you don’t postpone your sessions.

Since all sessions are online, it’s possible to continue your sessions without interruption, unless the time change doesn’t allow. If this isn’t an option, you can move your appointments, but it may affect the content/education/emails you receive each week and may or may not affect the momentum and results you’ve achieved thus far.


Can I ask questions between sessions?

Yes!  This is where a lot of the value comes in because you get personalized coaching for the entire program every single day of every single week. You receive unlimited email support throughout the entire program.


Do I have to submit the Lifestyle Tracker every day?

Ideally you do – for 2 reasons: 1) the more you use the Lifestyle Tracker, the greater your odds of success. The tracker holds you accountable and also helps connect the dots between your habits and your health outcomes; 2) it’s the only way that Nicole can see what you’re up to everyday and therefore help give you guidance and support on a regular basis.

If it’s a real challenge to complete it, talk to Nicole to find a workaround 🙂 Also, depending on your program, you don’t need to fill out the tracker the whole time.


How do I access and edit the Lifestyle Tracker?

As of June 15, 2020, your Lifestyle Tracker can be accessed within your personalized Private Coaching Curriculum.  If you want to access this without signing into the Curriculum, you can do the following:

  1. Go to App Store/Google Play. Download Google Sheets (If you have Google Drive or Sheets already installed, you can skip this step.)
  2. Ask Nicole to share the link with you.
  3. Click “Open in Sheets”. The document will open.
  4. Click in any box to edit. The document will automatically be saved.
  5. Add to Bookmarks for easy access daily.

How do I add the “Google sheets” Lifestyle Tracker to my home screen?


Open Safari. Log into your Google account. Choose Google Drive from the menu to see your documents. Click on the Lifestyle Tracker. At the bottom of the screen (in Safari), tap on the “Share” icon (square with arrow pointing up). The share screen will pop up providing options on how you want to share this page. Swipe the bottom row of icons to the left until you see “Add to Home Screen”. Edit display name, and tap “Add”. Android Process:


Open the Google Drive app. Navigate to the parent directory with the folder. Long press the folder for which you want to create the shortcut. In the resulting popup toolbar, tap the three vertical dots. Tap “Add to Home Screen”.

Besides email, where else can I access my documents?

The following applies as of June 15, 2020:

Health-Related Documents: Personalized Wellness Plan, Customized Recipe Book, and Lifestyle Tracker can be found in your Private Coaching Curriculum. 

Billing and Appointment History: This can be found in your private Jane account, which you can log into here.

How do I change my appointment?

To change your appointment, email info at nicoleporterwellness dot com directly. Less than 3 days notice may result in a charge for your session.

How do I upgrade my program?

Everyone responds differently and integrates lifestyle change at a different pace. Private Coaching sessions can be added at any frequency and for any duration.
