I was introduced to this book, Eating Alive – Prevention Thru Good Digestion, in 1997, when I first met my Naturopathic Doctor, Jonn Matsen. As the author of the book, Dr. Matsen does an amazing job of simplifying digestion, its relation to disease, all with a quirky sense of humour! Dr. Matsen has published a second edition of the book, in addition to The Secrets of Great Health and The Mysterious Causes and Cures of Illness, the latter of which I haven’t read.

If you want an informative, easy-to-understand, and entertaining book on wellness, this one is definitely worth the money.
