Why Zebras Don’t Get Ulcers by Robert Sapolsky

My entire business is based on helping people understand what stress is doing to their bodies, and then create healthy, realistic habits in order to reduce that daily stress. And so it’s a no brainer that this guy – Robert Sapolsky – is my “God”.

Not only does Mr. Sapolsky include valid research (he has degrees from Harvard and Rockefeller Universities, is currently a Professor of Biology and Neurology at Stanford University and a Research Associate with the Institute of Primate Research – he studied baboons for 30 years!) which is perfect for a geek like me, but he has a great sense of humour which makes it easier to not only cut the edge off the seriousness but also show us that he is human, as we all are, and we make mistakes.  If you want a better understanding of what stress is doing to your body, read “Why Zebras Don’t Get Ulcers“.
