Mindset by Carol Dweck

Mindset is everything. And the more I learn about the power of the mind, the more I know this to be true.

This book, Mindset, was first written in 2003, yet the findings of Stanford University psychologist Carol S. Dweck still hold true today.

Carol Dweck researches “growth mindset” — the idea that we can grow our brain’s capacity to learn and to solve problems.

Dweck explains how people with a fixed mindset—those who believe that abilities are fixed—are far less likely to flourish than those with a growth mindset—those who believe that abilities can be developed through hard work, good strategies, and mentorship.

If you have ever thought you couldn’t achieve your wildest dreams, it may be time to shift the way you think.
